Repsonse to "Attached to Technology and Paying a Price" by Matt Richtel

Matt has a lot of strong facts to back of his argument that technology is taking over our lives and ruining our families. I agree tremendously with what he is stating. The world has become to addicted to all the gadgets and accessories associated with technology that hardly anyone knows how to carry on a conversation, face to face, without interupting to check a facebook update or new tweet. Although, i wouldn't agree that everyone is to the point that Campbell has reached, where he is literally so caught up in technology he can't even put it down on a family vacation. His wife feels neglected at times and tries not to get herself wrapped up in all craziness.
The research done on multitaskers was very relevent to his point and goes to show that multitasking is not a good concept. Multitaskers have a difficult time filtering out the irrelevant information, therefore making them less capable of learning what they need to learn.
Surprisingly from the article I found that video games aren't so bad after all, they are actually proven to improve your reaction time and the ability to pick out details and get rid of clutter.
I think we could all use a technology break from the world for a while and should take Mr. Campbell as an example what not to do.
