First and foremost I will begin by saying I am a huge fan of the Power Team. I have seen them on 3 different occasions and all 3 times I was blown away. I wouldn’t say I was moved on the side of Christianity but that’s not all it was displaying. It was displaying discipline for yourself and helped with self-esteem issues as well as persuading teenagers to stay away from drugs and alcohol. I felt the whole article portrayed the Power Team in the wrong manner. We also discussed it in class, and student’s mentioned it not being right to motivate kids, youth, and adults in a christianly manner, through strength. I personally think the performance is meant to bring people in and as is any event you attend there is usually a catch, and the Power Team’s catch is Jesus. Everyone has their beliefs whether this is right or wrong. I personally can’t find anything wrong with it.
